KALIKOT: The Karnali Highway, blocked by a landslide in Gaganekhola, Shubha Kalika Rural Municipality–1, Kalikot on Saturday, partially reopened for one-way traffic on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Police Inspector Bir Bahadur Sunar, Information Officer at Kalikot District Police Office, the Nepal Army used blasting to break rocks carried by the landslide on Monday, allowing the road to reopen on Tuesday.
Authorities warned that continued rainfall may cause further blockages.
