KASKI: The district administration in Kaski has said it would take some more days to resume services.
The District Administration Office, which received damages in the vandalism and arson during the Gen-Z protest last week, would revive its services after taking time.
Currently, picking trashes, clearing debris and repair works were going on, said Chief District Officer, Rudra Devi Sharma, requesting service seekers for patience. However, daily administrative works including peace and security began since Sunday.
Even the security persons and employees are mobilized for repair, sanitation and painting. The Office received massive damage during the Gen-Z protest. The physical infrastructures turned unsightly after the arson and vandalism. Important devices like computers are torched and looted.
Even the documents/records like citizenship certificate, passport, national ID card, children’s card, registration of organization, local administration and security management perished in the fire, the Office shared.
