KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has opened online applications for scholarships for students studying in Grades 11 and 12.

According to the Education Department, applications can be submitted from July 2, 2025, until July 11, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Students across Nepal are eligible to apply.

Each year, the city conducts scholarship exams for 10% of students enrolled in institutional (private) schools within its jurisdiction.

Since 2022, the city has provided scholarships to around 15,000 students under this program.

For the 2025–26 academic year, the scholarship exam is scheduled for July 19, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
