HETAUDA: The Hetauda–Kulekhani–Sisneri–Dakshinkali road connecting Hetauda and Kathmandu has been blocked due to a landslide.

The landslide occurred this evening in Jyamire, Indrasarobar Rural Municipality-3, Makwanpur, following continuous rainfall.

Vehicles traveling from Kathmandu to Hetauda and vice versa are stranded midway. Although efforts are ongoing to clear the landslide, continuous rainfall has kept the soil wet and rocks keep falling, making the work difficult.

Police have advised travelers to use alternative routes, as reopening the road will take some time.
