NAWALPUR: The Narayanghat–Butwal road section has been completely blocked at Daunne due to a landslide.

The landslide occurred near Bishwakarma Temple in Binayi Tribeni Rural Municipality-2, according to DSP Madhu Nepal, spokesperson of the District Police Office.

Earlier, the road was operating one-way as vehicles struggled to pass due to slippery conditions caused by rain. However, the landslide in the afternoon fully obstructed traffic, resulting in long vehicle queues.

This section frequently faces disruptions during rainfall as vehicles are unable to navigate the slippery road.
