KATHMANDU: The country is currently experiencing the influence of local winds along with westerly winds.

As of Monday morning, the weather in the hilly areas of the country, including Koshi Province, is partly to generally cloudy.

In contrast, the rest of the country is partly to mainly clear. The Weather Forecasting Division has also reported that fog is present in some areas of the Terai.

Today, there is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, as well as in one or two places of the hilly areas in the rest of the provinces, it aid.

Additionally, light snowfall is possible in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and in one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of other provinces.

“As the rain and snowfall may partially impact daily life, health, and road and air transport, we urge the public to take necessary precautions and measures to avoid potential disruptions,” the Division has advised.
