MORANG: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Anil Kumar Sinha has said that the Mahotsav related events taking place in different parts of the country have added to economic and business vibes in the country’s economy.
Marking the conclusion of Birat Trade Expo in Biratnagar this evening, Minister Sinha said that such types of expos have played crucial roles in developing innovative technology and business networks.
Arguing that Biratnagar carries a glorious history in Nepal’s industrial development, Minister Sinha claimed that the country’s industrial development was the result of contributions made by the leading entrepreneurs of this area for entrepreneurship development.
On the occasion, he added that Koshi Province carries immense economic potential since this province contributes 16 percent of the country’s total GDP and 25 percent of the total industrial outputs.
Likewise, Minister Sinha said that the current government was moving ahead in a path ensure political stability for the nation and expressed commitment to take youths in the frontline of the politics.
The Expo witnessed around 200 stalls of goods produced in Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan along with the locally produced goods from the small and cottage industries.
