Police have arrested Bir Bahadur Roka, 29, of Asneri in Basgadhi Municipality-4, Bardiya on Wednesday night on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Police from the Area Police Office, Motipur, arrested Roka as soon as they received the information that he had sexually assaulted the little girl.

Police are conducting further investigation in this regard.
