Police on Saturday arrested a man against a charge of raping a 21-year-old girl in Devdaha Municipality-6, Rupandehi district.

The accused has been identified as Himal Khadka (46) of Rapti Rural Municipality-6, Dang district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from the Khaireni-based Police Office apprehended Khadka.

Further investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
