Kathmandu: A body has been discovered in the burnt house of Ganga Dahal, daughter of CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda.’

According to SSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari of Lalitpur, the body was recovered from the residence in Dholahiti.

He said the body was unrecognizable. “It is a male body, but it cannot be identified in its current state,” SSP Adhikari stated.

He further informed that the situation in Lalitpur has remained peaceful after the imposition of curfew.

“Police offices were set on fire, but all police personnel are safe. It was a huge challenge to protect the District Police Office,” he added.
