MAKWANPUR: A microbus accident in Bagmati Rural Municipality-4, Jhujhure, on the Madan Bhandari Highway this morning left 16 passengers injured.

The vehicle, registration number Ma Pra 02-001 Ja 0072, traveling from Sindhuli to Hetauda, lost control after colliding with a motorcycle (Na 5 Pa 5558) while merging from an inner road to the highway, falling about 15 feet into a nearby gorge.

The motorcyclist was also injured.

The injured were rescued and taken to local health facilities, including Samvi Polyclinic and Cooperative Hospital, for treatment, according to Makwanpur District Police Office.
