TANAHUN: The construction of the Model Animal Hospital building in Damauli, Byas Municipality-3 here remains incomplete.
Although the construction contract was signed to complete the building in Poush 2081 BS, only 75 percent of the work has been completed, according to the Veterinary Hospital and Animal Service Expert Center Tanahun. The center’s chief, Ravishan Adhikari, informed that the work was not completed on time despite repeated extensions.
Due to the contractor’s negligence, 25 percent of the work is still pending. The chief official said, “The deadline has been extended after the contractor promised to work quickly and complete the construction within six months.” Eco Builders has been given the responsibility of constructing the building.
The building of the Veterinary Hospital and Animal Service Expert Center in Damauli, the district headquarters, is incomplete even though it should have been completed a year and a half ago.
The Gandaki Provincial Government had signed a contract agreement to complete the construction of the hospital building at a cost of Rs 49 million, excluding VAT. It is estimated that it will cost Rs 100 million to build and operate the necessary physical infrastructure of the hospital.
