KATHMANDU: Due to a landslide at Tui̇n Khola on the Muglin–Narayangadh road section, traffic is being allowed only in one direction.

According to the Road Division Bharatpur, landslides are occurring along with heavy rainfall, so traffic in the Tui̇n Khola area has been limited to one-way movement.

The Road Division issued a notice stating, “As it is raining and the risk has increased in this section, we sincerely request all travelers to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary. If travel is unavoidable, please proceed with caution and only after coordinating with security agencies.”

The Road Division further reported that the landslide near Jwang Khola on the Muglin–Nagdhunga road section has been cleared.

Traffic, which had been temporarily blocked due to the landslide, has now resumed. The Chitwan Police issued a statement saying, “Major roads in Chitwan, Dhading, and Tanahun districts are closed. The obstruction at Tui̇n Khola in Chitwan is minor.”
