CHITWAN: Chitwan’s Muglin-Narayangarh road section has reopened for vehicles after the Tuin Khola landslide was cleared.
Vehicle movement had been suspended by the District Administration Office from 6 PM on Saturday due to safety concerns.
Landslide clearance work was carried out on Sunday morning, and vehicles started moving from 8 AM.
Only emergency and previously halted vehicles are currently allowed, while full operations will resume once the entire road is deemed safe.
On the route from Muglin to Kathmandu, landslide clearance is ongoing at multiple points, including sections from Muglin to Malekhu and Malekhu to Nagdhunga.
Vehicles halted in Chitwan are allowed to travel east and west, with services eastward operational up to Koshi Barrage.
No human casualties have been reported, and authorities said the suspension helped prevent potential risks.
