KATHMANDU: The Nagdhunga–Naubise section of the Tribhuvan Highway will be closed at night starting Baisakh 22 (May 5) to allow for construction and improvement work on the Nagdhunga–Piplamod road.
This was announced by the Nagdhunga–Muglin Road Project (Eastern Section), and necessary preparations are being made accordingly, said Kathmandu District Police spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohara.
The Road Project Office issued a public notice today stating that, in coordination with the respective District Administration Offices, vehicular movement on the road will be partially halted from 11 PM to 3 AM each night from Baisakh 22 to Baisakh 31 (May 5 to May 14) to facilitate construction work.
