KATHMANDU: The Narayangadh–Muglin road section, which had been blocked in several places due to continuous rainfall over the past two days, has reopened smoothly from Monday morning.
According to the Chitwan Road Division, traffic has resumed on this vital stretch from 6 a.m. today.
While the road is now operational, authorities have warned that the risk of landslides still remains.
Travelers have been urged to exercise caution while using the route.
With the reopening, transportation services along the Narayangadh–Muglin section and the Prithvi Highway have returned to normal.
Authorities said that although the road is clear at present, heavy rainfall on Friday and Saturday had increased the risk of landslides.
As a precaution, all public and private vehicles were halted from Saturday until conditions improved.
