KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation and patron of Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, has said that the country will now move forward with a new mindset, new leadership and a new direction.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony organized by the Ujyalo Nepal Party Nuwakot-Kathmandu Liaison Forum at Bouddha in Kathmandu today, Minister Ghising said that political change has become inevitable in the country, while noting that the upcoming March 5 House of Representatives elections was as an important opportunity to change the future of the country.
Stating that honest and pro-people leadership can be selected through elections, Minister Ghising emphasized that a new leadership that can move the country forward in a new vein is needed.
Referring to the ongoing efforts for unification among alternative political forces in the country, he pointed out the need for the new forces to accept the existence of all and unite with respect.
“The new forces should abandon their ego and unite for a common purpose, as the people’s feelings and desires are to see the new forces united.”
Minister Ghising mentioned that the trust among the people in the Ujyalo Party is increasing. “We must strengthen this trust and move forward with confidence.”
Various leaders, cadres and supporters of the Ujyalo Nepal Party were present at the program.
