Head coach of the Nepali national football team, Abdullah Al Mutairi, today offered his apology for making a misleading statement in an interview with online media in July.

“I took a stance and talked about some topics which I should have done well,” he said. The head coach asserted that while speaking about the Nepal national team and its players, his intentions were simply to tell where and how the team and other Asian countries developed in football in the last three decades.
