KATHMANDU: The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday to discuss loss of life and property, search, rescue, relief, and rehabilitation measures following recent floods and landslides.
Prime Minister and Council Chairperson Sushila Karki called the meeting to assess the damage caused by the continuous heavy rainfall that began on October 3 and to decide on urgent response actions.
According to an official from NDRRMA, the meeting will deliberate on providing housing for citizens displaced by floods and landslides, conducting searches for the missing, and distributing relief to the deceased and injured.
