Nepal Army Imposes Nationwide Curfew
The Nepal Army has announced a nationwide curfew order in response to the escalating unrest. According to the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of the Army, the curfew will remain in place across the country until 5 p.m. Wednesday. Army spokesperson Brigadier General Rajaram Basnet said the curfew would be reimposed on Thursday (Sept 11) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. He urged the public to stay indoors during the curfew hours except for essential needs.
