KATHMANDU: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has extended best wishes to all Nepali sisters and brothers at home and abroad on the occasion of the Nepal Sambat 1146 today.

In a message of best wishes given today, Vice President Yadav wished peace, prosperity and happiness. He said Nepal Sambat has helped in nurturing tolerance, reconciliation and fraternity in the country.

“I wish Nepal Sambat would inspire everyone to work for national unity, integrity and sovereignty on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1146,” he said, reminding the contribution of national luminary Sankhadhar Sakhwa.

The Vice President further said we revere Shankhadhar Sakhwa not only for his role in liberating poor farmers from financial burden but also creating atmosphere to live dignified life. It is an inspiring event in Nepal’s history.
