KATHMANDU: Bipin Joshi, a Nepali national captured by Hamas in Gaza, has been included in the list of living hostages, according to international media reports.

His name appeared in the list made public ahead of the first phase of the planned ceasefire between Hamas and Israel, under which some hostages are expected to be released on Monday.

The Washington Post reported that Bipin Joshi’s name was included among those confirmed alive.

Earlier, a list published by CNN had mentioned his status as unknown. However, the latest lists released by The Washington Post, Times of Israel, and Associated Press have stated that Bipin Joshi is alive.
