Niharika Rajput, who came into the limelight as a virgin mother, has married Sivaraj Shrestha. They went to the Janaki temple in Janakpurdham and got married. Niharika even filed a complaint against Sivaraj in the court accusing him of adultery.

It is said that they got married after both of them reached the legal age. After the separation due to disagreements between the two, Niharika protested to Kathmandu to keep Sivaraj as the father of the child.
