KATHMANDU: Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) Nepal is set to launch NTV World later today (November 9), introducing a dedicated English-language channel aimed at taking Nepal’s voice to the global stage.

President Ramchandra Paudel will formally inaugurate the channel during a ceremony marking the first anniversary and official opening of PSB Nepal.

With the motto “Nepal’s Perspective to the World,” NTV World aims to promote Nepal’s culture, identity, and narratives internationally. The channel will broadcast four hours daily, from 19:00 to 23:00 (local time).

The Ministry of Communication said the channel follows a “Digital First” strategy, adopting multi-platform journalism and transmedia storytelling to reach global audiences.

NTV World will present local stories from a distinctly Nepali perspective while ensuring international accessibility through its digital platforms.
