Police arrested a man in possession of a Tiger skin in Kamalbazaar Municipality of Achham district on Tuesday.

The arrestee has been identified as Bishnu Bahadur Bista (50) of Dhaku in Kamal bazaar-8.

Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Kamalbazaar-based Area Police Office recovered tiger skin from the possession of Bista and arrested him.

The arrestee will be tried under the National Park and Wildlife Act 1973.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
