DOTI: One person died on the spot and 18 others were injured when an EV Hiace met with an accident in Jorayal, Doti.

According to the District Police Office, the accident occurred at around 5:35 a.m. on Saturday along the Bhimdatta Highway in Jorayal Rural Municipality–1.

The EV Hiace (registration number Su.Pa.Pra. 01 001 Kha 3956), traveling from Achham to Dhangadhi, went out of control and plunged about 100 meters off the road, killing one person.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Hariya Pariyar of Mangalsen Municipality–9, Achham.

Police said that among the injured, eight are in serious condition, while ten sustained moderate injuries.
