KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan International Airport, which was closed since Tuesday afternoon due to the Gen-Z protest, is now crowded with passengers after it reopened this evening.
TIA General Manager Hansraj Pandey shared that the number of passengers going abroad has increased after the TIA Security Committee meeting decided to reopen the closed airport from this evening. “The airport was closed since 3:30 pm on Tuesday due to the protest. But the number of passengers has increased after it reopened earlier today.”
After the airport reopened, the TIA administration has appealed to passengers to come to the airport only by contacting the agency where they bought their tickets or the concerned airlines company.
