KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan University’s Annual General Assembly has approved its 63rd Graduation List, including 89,191 students who have passed various faculties and levels.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, passed the list presented by Registrar Dr. Kedar Prasad Rijal.
The assembly also reviewed the budget and programs for fiscal year 2025/26. Chancellor Oli urged the university to establish itself as a competitive and capable institution suitable for the 21st century.
Pro Chancellor and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Panta emphasized the university’s critical role in fulfilling the national vision of “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali,” urging alignment with this goal.
Newly appointed Vice Chancellor Deepak Aryal stated that the university should aim for at least 1% of its total student body—about 4,000 students—to be international students.
