KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended best wishes to one and all on the occasion of Bhadra Krishna Aunshi or Kushe Aunshi (Father’s Day).

Taking to the social networking site today, PM Oli extended his greetings on the day while paying respect to all living fathers and departed ancestors.

The Prime Minister took this an opportunity to share that he received blessings from his father early this morning on the occasion.

He noted that the day to honour the father is a symbolic day of showing ancestral respect in our tradition.

“Parents should ever be given a feeling of respect not being limited on a special day. The day is special because children who are far away also come to see their fathers”, he stated.
