KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that an average of 2.55 kilometers of road was constructed daily in the last fiscal year.
Posting on Facebook on Saturday, Oli remarked that Nepal has made the greatest leap in physical infrastructure development in the past six years.
According to him, 932 kilometers of roads have been blacktopped in the last fiscal year alone.
“Six years ago, during our own government’s tenure, the pace of physical infrastructure development was at its peak. In between, it declined. Now that we are once again in government, data shows that the pace has picked up again. We must accelerate this further,” Prime Minister Oli said.
Extending greetings on Engineers’ Day today, Oli also stated that Nepal’s engineers are a reliable workforce contributing to the development of both physical infrastructure and technology.
