KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to visit Mahottari district on Friday to participate in various programs.

According to Hari Prasad Mandal, Mayor of Matihani Municipality, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the newly constructed bridge over the Bighi River that connects Matihani Municipality-8 to Janakpur, as well as the newly built maternity building in Ward No. 6 of Matihani.

In addition, PM Oli is also slated to inaugurate the newly constructed Ratokhola bridge in Rauja.

An invitation letter sent by Keshav Kumar Sharma, Secretary at the Madhes Province’s Ministry of Federal Affairs, Physical Infrastructure and Transport, confirms that the inauguration of both the Bighi River and Ratokhola bridges is on the schedule for Friday’s visit.
