KATHMANDU: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has placed 11 construction companies and suppliers on its blacklist.
The monitoring office released the details of these 11 blacklisted firms by issuing a public notice on Wednesday.
According to the notice, based on written recommendations received from various public entities, the firms have been blacklisted in accordance with Section 63, Subsection (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
This action goes into effect starting from the date of the notice’s publication.
The office further stated that the blacklisted construction entrepreneurs and suppliers will not be allowed to participate in any procurement processes of any public entity during the entire duration of their blacklisting period.
