KATHMANDU: Inmates from Dilli Bazar Prison have been relocated to the Central Jail in Sundhara after an arson incident early this morning.

According to police officials, 55 prisoners have so far been transferred to Sundhara, with the remaining inmates also being moved in phases.

The transfer followed unrest in which inmates reportedly broke the prison gates and set fires inside the facility.
