RUPANDEHI: Gen Z protesters set fire to Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa on Tuesday evening.

Hundreds of demonstrators stormed into the airport premises, vandalizing property before starting fires.

The protesters torched four government vehicles and also damaged several security vehicles during the chaos.

Earlier in the day, youths had been staging protests outside the airport before forcing their way inside by evening.
