KATHMANDU: The Home Ministry has announced a public holiday as a national mourning in honour of those who lost their lives in course of Gen-Z protest.
Spokesperson at the Ministry, Anand Kafle, issued a press note on Tuesday, informing that there would be public holiday tomorrow as per Cabinet meeting held on September 15.
“In honour of those who lost lives in demonstration called by Gen-Z protest on September 8 and 9, the government has decided to hoist the national flag at half mast at all government offices, Nepali embassies and missions abroad along with a public holiday,” Kafle mentioned in the press note.
