Police arrested a man on charge of raping a 16-year-old girl in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-9, Okhaldhunga district.

The accused has been identified as Bhola Katwal (33) of the same municipality.

Katwal raped the girl by taking her to a guest house based at Siddhicharan Municipality on Sunday (August 29). Acting on the information, Okhaldhunga police nabbed the accused on Wednesday.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
