KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order directing transport entrepreneurs not to call strikes that obstruct public mobility.

The order was passed by the single bench of Justice Nityananda Pandey.

The court has also summoned the concerned parties for a discussion regarding the continuation of the order.

This development comes after transport entrepreneurs withdrew their protest on Tuesday, June 3.

The strike, which had been affecting nationwide transportation services, was retracted following mounting public pressure and legal scrutiny.
