KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board is preparing to publish the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results in the first week of July.

Although results are typically announced in mid-June as per the academic calendar, this year’s timeline has been pushed back due to delays in answer sheet evaluation.

A 29-day teachers’ strike that began on April 2 caused significant disruption in the answer-checking process. With two additional days lost in logistical delays, the evaluation process started late, pushing the result announcement to the first week of July.

The answer sheet checking is now in its final phase, with staff working full shifts from morning till evening. The SEE exams began on March 20 this year.

A total of 499,183 students appeared in the exams, including 431,466 in the regular category and 67,715 under the grade improvement category.
