KATHMANDU: Roads in at least seven locations across the country remain blocked, Nepal Police said.
Authorities reported that transportation has been completely disrupted in Sankhuwasabha, Rasuwa, and Sindhupalchok districts.
In Rasuwa, flooding in Gosainkunda Rural Municipality–2 has blocked a bridge linking Nepal to China, while a landslide in Tatopani forced the closure of the Pasang Lhamu Highway.
In Sankhuwasabha, sections of the Koshi Highway were cut off at Barun in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality–4 and at Aekuwa in Makalu Rural Municipality–3.
Similarly, in Sindhupalchok, landslides along the Araniko Highway have blocked traffic at “Ek Kilo” in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality–7 and “Barah Kilo” in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality–2.
