BAJURA: Seven polling stations have been added in Bajura for the House of Representatives election to be held on March 5.
This takes the total number of polling centres to 77 and polling stations to 112.
Polling stations have been added in Budhinanda Municipality, Himali, Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality in Province Assembly ‘ka’ and Triveni Municipality in Province Assembly Constituency ‘ka’.
According to Bhim Bahadur Shahi, Election Officer of the District Election Office, Bhagwati Basic School Rudhi, Mandali Secondary School Kholikot and Ward No. 3 Jukot in Swamikartik Khapar Rural Municipality-1 have been divided and a new polling station has been established in Shambhushunanda Secondary School Juku.
Similarly, Madanashrit Basic School Baddala in Budhinanda Municipality-3, Sunanda Basic School Bam in Himali Rural Municipality-1, Kulamastajan Basic School Kyuri in Ward No. 5, and Kholikot Basic School in Ward No. 6 have been designated as new polling stations.
The number of voters in Bajura with four rural municipalities and five municipalities has reached 86,557, with 1,516 new voters.
