KATHMANDU: The Sudhi Samaj (society) in Kathmandu has organized a complimentary health camp at the Pashupatinath Temple grounds in celebration of Mahashivaratri.

Shankar Sah Sudi, the convener of the Mahashivaratri sub-committee, reported that over 10,000 individuals benefited from the free health check-ups.

Society President Shital Prasad Mahato emphasized that such initiatives significantly contribute to the preservation and promotion of Hindu religion, culture, and harmony.

Member of the Constituent Assembly Shail Mahato, along with society members Rekha Mahato, Priyanka Purve, Mamata Mahaseth, and others, were honored during the event.
