Supreme Court to hear habeas corpus cases during Tihar holiday

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court will remain open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the Tihar holiday to hear cases related to writs of habeas corpus.

According to a notice issued by the Supreme Court administration, hearings will take place on all days during the festival except on Bhai Tika (October 24) and Saturdays.

The court will specifically handle habeas corpus petitions during this period in accordance with Section 26 of the Administration of Justice Act.
