SYANGJA: The Syangja-Parbat road section, which had been blocked due to continuous rainfall, has resumed one-way traffic.
The road had been obstructed by a landslide at Dumrebhanjyang in Waling Municipality-14 since Monday morning and was reopened for one-way traffic on Tuesday evening.
The clearance was delayed due to multiple large-scale landslides along the route.
The area’s steep hills and cliffs made the restoration work challenging, and despite long efforts, only one-way traffic has been resumed for now.
Full two-way operation will take a few more days.
The blockage of the road connecting Waling to the southern areas of Parbat, including Pakuwa and Byadi, had left vehicles and passengers stranded.
