KATHMANDU: The Teachers’ Federation staged a sit-in at the CPN-UML party headquarters in Chyasal today as part of its first phase of protest programs.

The demonstration was held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, during which the Federation also submitted a memorandum.

On Wednesday, the Federation had organized a similar sit-in at the Nepali Congress headquarters.

According to the Federation, the next protest will take place at the CPN (Maoist Centre) central office in Paris Danda on August 29.
