The newly appointed province chiefs have been administered the oath of office and secrecy before President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Chief Minister of Province-1, Parshuram Khapung; Karnali Province Chief, Tilak Pariyar; and Sudurpaschim Province Chief, Devraj Joshi, took the oath of the office and secretary in accordance with Article 167 of the Constitution of Nepal. The swearing-in ceremony was held at President’s Office on Thursday.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana were present on the occasion.
