CHITWAN: Tourists visiting Sauraha, the country’s third most popular tourist destination, celebrated Dashain in traditional Nepali style.

Guests at Green Park Chitwan Hotel, one of the top choices for visitors, marked the festival by receiving tika and jamara.

Hotel’s Resident Manager (RM) Radha Shrestha said that foreign visitors were delighted to experience Nepal’s greatest festival firsthand, learning about the cultural significance while taking part in the rituals.

“We had earlier launched a campaign on World Tourism Day, including helicopter charters, to show that Nepal is safe and open for visitors despite the challenges of the Gen-Z movement,” RM Shrestha explained.

“Now, by celebrating Dashain together with the tourists, we want to show that Nepal can be explored safely while also embracing its traditions.”
