DAUNNE: Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) Police have urged travelers to use alternative routes as obstruction continues along the Daunne section of the East-West Highway.
The 14-kilometer stretch of Daunne has become slippery and steep in several places, causing vehicles to get stuck and obstructing smooth traffic flow.
Police have requested the public to avoid using this route as much as possible and opt for alternative roads instead.
According to Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) District Police Office, traffic movement has remained difficult in Daunne for the past five days.
Police also advised travelers to coordinate with the District Police Office, the District Traffic Police Office, and the Dumkibas Area Police Office before traveling.
Due to the poor road conditions, there has been heavy congestion of vehicles in the area.
