KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chancellor of Tribhuvan University (TU), KP Sharma Oli, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Deepak Aryal, on Wednesday.

The oath-taking ceremony took place at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, where Vice-Chancellor Dr. Aryal was sworn in before Chancellor Oli.

The event was attended by Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Raghuji Panta, among others.

Chancellor Oli appointed Dr. Aryal as Vice-Chancellor today from among the candidates recommended by the Vice-Chancellor Recommendation Committee.
