A person has been arrested for raping a 7-year-old girl in Bhaktapur. 19-year-old Nishan Tamang from Bardibas Dhungre was arrested.

The police arrested Nishan on the basis of a complaint that Nishan forced herself into his room.

Likewise, another person has been accused of raping a 36-year old woman in Dang. 40-year-old Navraj Dangi has been arrested on this charge.
