PALPA: Two persons died in a road accident occurred at Tinau Rural Municipality-3 along the Siddhartha Highway on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Milan Sarki, 31, of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality in Gulmi district while the identity of another deceased is yet to be ascertained, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Hom Prakash Chaudhary.

The accident took place when a motorcycle (Lu 49 Pa 7795) heading towards Palpa from Butwal collided with a tipper (Lu 2 Kha 1883) coming from the opposite direction.

The two died in course of treatment at the Lumbini Province Hospital. Police have arrested the tipper driver.
